Starting Point Systems DAC 3 (NOS)
iFi Audio Nano iDSD LE with headphone amp
Allo Boss for Raspberry Pi
Partly a lazy digital user:
(I still like physical media and SACDs, so…)
Esoteric DV60 player.
A couple of Oppo UDP-205’s
A Marantz something or other universal disc player
A Meridian Explorer 2 hooked up to the laptop to stream Tidal. That’s currently my only “pure” DAC.
I have two modest systems at home. My office/studio consists of an iMac>Dragonfly Black>NAD D 3020. I find the AQ Dragonfly Black offers better results compared to the D 3020’s built in USB. Plus I get Tidal Masters out of it.
My main rig has a Rotel RA-12 integrated amp which I am using it’s own built in DAC coupled with a DTS Play-Fi streamer for Tidal HiFi.
And my mobile setup is an iPhone>Oppo HA-2SE.
Schiit modi 2,
but I’m considering upgrading to Schiit Bifrost multibit. heard it at their store and it was awesome.
Last week and the week prior, I was using the Chord Qutest. This week and next, the Schiit Modi.
Dragonfly Red for portable use with iPhone
McIntosh C52 pre-amp built-in DAC
Bryston BDA-1 fed by 1st generation Bluesound Node in my main rig
Audioengine D1 for home office desktop system with Audioengine A2’s
another 1st generation Bluesound Node in family room/TV room
Bluesound Powernode (1st generation) feeding both porch and breakfast room via Radioshack speaker switch
Schiit Bifrost 4490 for desktop
built in DAC on Rotel RA1570 for main system
I have a BlueSound Node 2 at the moment, but I have my eye on the upcoming NAD C 658.
